Atheists-Christians-Anyone. What do you think of the deadly aquatic fish virus that is spreading called hemorr

Posted on 22nd January 2009 by admin in Uncategorized

-hagic septicemia virus or VHS? It is reaching epidemic proportions in New Yorks two Great Lakes, and has already spread into the Finger Lakes region. Last year, VHS killed millions of fish in Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. VHS causes internal bleeding in fish and threatens the states US $1.2 billion dollar sports fishing industry and could have a devastating effect on aquaculture. So we have honey bee colony collapse-Mad cow disease-and deadly VHS, which has been found in ancient fish species-would that turn the water red with blood? No cows-no milk-no bee's-no honey-no fish? The last horse"man" predicts mass famine on a global scale, even the wealthy nations will be effected - your thoughts?

VHS has existed outside of the Great Lakes for hundreds of thousands of years…

It's killed by cold water… (Okay, let me be accurate…it's DORMANT in cold water)

We're seeing it in fish with no resistance to it because the great lakes are warming up.

Meanwhile, the City of Toronto is cooled by cold water pumped out of the bottom of Lake Ontario. They *claim* this is not raising the temperature of the lake, but the water is cleaned and returns to the lake at AMBIENT TEMPERATURE, which means it is warming the darn lake.

My family, for YEARS, depended on Ontario for food. When Nine Mile Point in Scriba warmed the lake after a flashflood that overflowed a cooling pond and caused a fishkill, Ontario went ape-poop at New York, and now the plants there have cooling towers and sealable ponds.

Now Ontario's going "the water is mysteriously getting warmer" in Lake Ontario, but the cooling of Toronto has NOTHING to do with it…yeah, fricking right. They even acknowledge, BTW, that it's getting WARMER than can just be explained by localized warming.

In Lake Erie, where the water gets much, much warmer, we're not seeing so much VHS because the water, at 50ft deep on average, has ALWAYS gotten warm, and the fish that are in it (Rainbow Trout, Aligator Pike, Bullhead and other cats, pumpkinseeds and other sunfish, scad and minnows) are resistant to VHS and only are affected if ill from other things.

(Oh, and we see it in the Finger Lakes every year it gets really really hot…. especially in the shallower ones.)
